Transactional Process Improvement is a rigorous, proven method to drive sustainable improvements. TPI is used to "lean out" a process by eliminating waste (muda) and creating work flow while maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations for delivery. A TPI event is conducted as a kaizen event, with a Value Stream Map of the current state as a key element of the pre-work.
