Speed Design Review is a breakthrough methodology based on the Toyota Development System that applies lean principles to product development. SDR is to product development what Lean Cells are to manufacturing. The SDR tool is an advanced set of project management practices that builds upon existing FBS Develop tools such as Visual Project Management (VPM) and Lean Product Definition (LPD). Project leaders are encouraged to participate in available benchmarking and training prior to implementation. There is also a certified trainer program available. Participants are required to be VPM Certified Trainers to apply.
