Toll Gate #2 Kaizen is a focused, one-week event applied during Product Development Phase 2 that brings together a cross-functional team from Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Ops to channel Voice of Customer into Voice of Designer. Applying TG-2 Kaizen accelerates product development by using a structured approach to capture customer needs. The process then explores and selects design approaches that result in achieving dramatic reduction in time to market. Tools applied include competitive evaluations (Simplified QFD), Design 3P and VOC.
